Prepared the traditional way, Restaurant Frida prides itself in producing authentic Mexican tastes and recipes… not the “tourist Mexican” that many places offer.
The finest ingredients imported from Mexico with local fresh produce gives Frida Restaurant an authenticity and taste like no other. Our home-made sauces (served to the side of each dish so you can add your own amount for stronger or more subtle tasting) are made to our special recipe and we can give you extra hot or mild and smooth, depending on your own preference.
Add to that, our specially hand-made plates and glasses… this is a Restaurant, which is unique in Trondheim.

Restaurant Frida proudly sponsors Latin Festivalen 2012
Latinfestivalen i Trondheim is February 24 & 25, 2012 at the Rica Nidelven Hotel. We are proud to be featuring three international artist this year – GRAMMY and LATIN GRAMMY AWARD nominee INDIA “La Princesa de la Salsa” from Puerto Rico, MATT BIANCO from London and GRAMMY WINNER DJ PANKO from Barcelona. The festival will be a 2 day celebration of great music, dancing, and many more. The daglig leader and producer of the festival is Patricia Princess Søreng who was born in Haiti and lived in New York City until 2009 when she moved to Trondheim.
Opening the festival this year is a special DANCE concert that will display many of Latin-American dance styles.
